About The Position

Christman Facility Solutions, LLC is seeking a Service Director - MEP to join their Dallas, Texas region. This role will oversee the management and operations of the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Datacom department of CFS. The company is looking for innovative minds to shape the world and live to build.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related job field.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of direct construction management experience including the management of individuals and teams.
• Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug and background screening.

• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manages personnel assigned to the CFS Service and Warehouse division.
• Works closely with and thoroughly communicates with CFS leadership to ensure alignment of objectives.
• Creates, modifies, and implements processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance throughout the division.
• Works closely with other CFS division managers coordinate strategy and share resources to bring the greatest benefit the overall organization.
• Works to maintain a positive culture that praises and rewards good performance and continues to nurture and develop its people.
• Engages in the onboarding process to support growth and manage attrition.
• Properly prepares for, attends, schedules and leads meetings as required.
• Works closely with external departments and maintains collaborative and supportive working relationships across the enterprise.
• Manages, tracks and supports division personnel to ensure that proper training and/or continuing education is completed in a timely manner.
• Attends company and business development functions as required.
• Engages in business development and utilize existing relationships in the market to support the growth efforts of Christman.
• Monitors and manages project financials as well as overall division financials.
• Ensures weekly timecards are properly entered for assigned employees.
• Properly prepares for and performs yearly evaluations for assigned employees.
• Works with fellow leaders to develop and implement a strategic plan each year, ensuring the continued success of the business unit.
• Leads the response to client RFP’s, working with marketing, project planning, and operations leaders to ensure a complete proposal is submitted, and clearly communicates CFS’s approach and qualifications.
• Supports project planning/estimating teams to ensure project budgets are maintained throughout design.
• Engages operations staff as needed to ensure continuity.
• Develops preliminary cash flow reports, schedules, and other project documents as needed.
• Oversees the development and issuance of all bid packages, ensuring risk is mitigated through proper buyout and contract execution.
• Supports operations teams to ensure the project is delivered to the complete satisfaction of the client.
• Ensures all aspects of the project are executed according to Christman’s standards, including safety, risk management, scheduling, and quality.
• Ensures the client is satisfied with the project outcomes and the closeout package is complete.
