About The Position

The Service Desk Technician I serves as a trusted first point of contact for associates, delivering responsive and reliable technical support across a wide range of systems and applications. In this role, you will manage incoming incidents and service requests via phone and email, ensuring timely resolution within defined service levels while providing clear, courteous communication. Leveraging strong problem-solving skills, you will document, prioritize, and track issues through resolution, escalating when necessary and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and prevent recurring problems. You will support system access requests, software installations, and application configuration, while maintaining accurate documentation and enhancing your technical expertise. This position plays a vital role in driving associate satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the ongoing improvement of IT service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in a computing environment required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to develop technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Effective multitasking with strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office required
