About The Position

As an IT Intern, you will assist the technology team with a variety of technical projects while gaining hands-on experience in information technology, business systems, and project implementation. This role is designed to provide exposure to real-world technology environments and help develop practical skills in IT operations, software applications, systems administration, and technology project management. The internship is intended as a learning opportunity and provides mentorship from experienced IT professionals. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, organized, and interested in developing technical and professional skills in a business environment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges are essential.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with technology and software implementation projects.
  • Support project documentation, data organization, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in software testing, system research, and technology evaluations.
  • Help maintain technology inventories, records, and documentation.
  • Attend team meetings and collaborate with staff on assigned projects.
  • Learn and apply IT, cybersecurity, and business technology best practices.
  • Perform other technology-related tasks and projects as assigned.
