About The Position

This role involves providing technical support and maintaining IT equipment within a managed HelpDesk ticket system. The technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals, as well as providing support to end-users. The position also includes maintaining IT inventory, collaborating with the IT team on policies and procedures, performing regular maintenance tasks, and participating in project work such as software roll-outs.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Proven work experience as an IT Technician or similar role, with references
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of the IT team and independently with users
  • High level of familiarity w Windows Operating Systems and MS Office products

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus
  • Manufacturing experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Work within a managed HelpDesk ticket system
  • Maintain accurately detailed worklogs and documentation
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software & peripherals
  • Provide verbal and written technical support to end-users
  • Desk and Mobile phone setup and support
  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, both manually or by using automation for software installs, updates and scans
  • Some Project work such as large software roll-outs or evaluating new technology
