About The Position

With over 75 branches across North America, BearCom is seeking a Service Coordinator in Atlanta, GA. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for meeting customer expectations, including quality, performance, timeliness, and effective communication. This role involves working with complex wireless communication systems for public safety and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organized, self-motivated, customer service-driven, reliable, and eager to learn. The Service Coordinator will have direct interaction with the end customer, making a professional attitude and effective communication vital.

Requirements

2 years of proven relevant experience
Type 35 wpm, with experience in data entry.
Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergencies.
Proficient in English (oral and written).
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
Must follow company procedures and assist with development and refining procedures as needed.
Must have computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must be able to work under pressure and independently, and be able to meet deadlines for delivering quality solutions in a timely manner.
Must be an active listener with excellent communication skills
Must possess sound judgement and critical thinking.
Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.

Nice To Haves

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record all significant information.
Address problems and requests by transmitting information to the appropriate resource or providing a solution.
Receive and schedule resources for trouble calls and service projects.
Use radio, phone, or computer to dispatch crews to appropriate locations.
Enter data into the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other relevant information.
Provide in-route and follow-up calls to customers as part of customer service.
Perform administrative and office clerical duties as assigned.
