Service Coordinator | Home Care

ColumbiaColumbia, MO
Onsite

About The Position

Our Service Coordinator sits at the center of it all. We’re looking for someone who loves people and loves solving problems. Someone who can look at a complicated schedule, think ahead, pick up the phone, bring people together, and find solutions others may not immediately see. Someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do when something isn’t working. You notice it. You own it. You help solve it. If you’re energized by relationships, problem-solving, strategy, and work that genuinely affects people’s lives, we’d love to meet you. As our Service Coordinator, you’ll help create reliable, consistent care by making thoughtful connections between our clients and Care Pros.

Requirements

  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Confidence building relationships over the phone and in person
  • Ability to prioritize multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment when plans change unexpectedly
  • Comfort learning and working across multiple technology platforms
  • Strong personal accountability and follow-through
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset
  • Genuine compassion for older adults, families, and the people providing their care
  • Must pass a per-employment background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in scheduling, staffing, healthcare, home care, customer service, hospitality, recruiting, logistics, or another people-centered coordination role is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Build schedules with intention – Match Care Pros with clients based on needs, strengths, personality, availability, consistency, and the likelihood of a successful relationship.
  • Build strong Care Pro relationships – Get to know our Care Pros, what they do well, where they thrive, and what helps them feel connected and successful.
  • Stay connected to client needs – Understand what matters to our clients and families so scheduling decisions are about more than simply filling an opening.
  • Solve problems creatively – Navigate call-offs, changing availability, new clients, schedule changes, and unexpected challenges with calm, critical thinking.
  • Think ahead – Identify upcoming gaps, patterns, risks, and opportunities before they turn into urgent problems.
  • Communicate proactively – Keep Care Pros, clients, families, and teammates informed while closing communication loops and documenting important decisions.
  • Collaborate closely – Work side-by-side with Client Care, Recruitment, and the rest of our Columbia office to create the best possible outcomes.
  • Own the outcome – Follow through beyond filling the shift. Pay attention to whether the match actually works and help make adjustments when it doesn’t.

  • Ongoing professional development
  • PTO
  • Benefits and 401k (with company match after one year of employment)
  • Opportunities for growth and development
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team environment
  • Meaningful work with a visible impact on people’s lives
