We boldly go. The person is responsible for the planning, coordination, control and direction of technical personnel activities. They are also responsible for interaction with clients, communication with Operations managers, and coordinating with Operations managers, the visits of technical personnel to sites to perform work. The role involves coordinating everything required to perform a service: qualified personnel for each job, parts, materials, subcontractors, and everything required by the client, previously established and agreed upon in the service order, based on project needs and resource availability. This role creates the service schedule, organizes, reviews, and creates the itinerary for assigned projects, and registers changes in the Sales Force - Field Service system. Projects and jobs are assigned to technicians with the help of the Operations Manager (regarding the knowledge and experience level of the technicians) and the Regional Service Manager (regarding technician availability, productivity, project importance, priorities, etc.). Programming data is captured in the Sales Force system, and time not applied, such as vacation, meetings, medical appointments, etc., is also registered as part of the programming to maintain clear visibility of available resources. The role confirms the visit with the client and the technician, ensures the technician knows the scope of work, has the necessary materials, parts, and all required resources, along with documents or requirements requested by the client. Work orders are generated, required parts are loaded into the system, per diems are requested if necessary, company tool assignments are coordinated, and preparations are made for dispatch. Technicians are dispatched, and clients are notified. The timely assignment of tools, uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to technical personnel is reviewed in conjunction with the Operations Manager. Services are rescheduled when required in the Sales Force calendar, the appointment status is changed, and the reason for rescheduling, required materials and resources, and responsible party are specified.
