About The Position

This role involves applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively resolve issues in the enrollment and billing of New Brunswick Drug Plan customers in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where prioritizing is a must. Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business/or administration will be beneficial.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in business and/or collections is an asset.
  • A high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with demanding turn-around times.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker and customer service oriented.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, notably Excel, as well as strong overall computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administrative activities surrounding enrollment and billing for members of the New Brunswick Drug Plan.
  • Perform plan changes and billing-related tasks within established accuracy, productivity, and efficiency performance targets using different admin systems, ensuring member requests are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Quickly analyze customer needs regarding their coverage and billing account, identifying new and future client service opportunities.
  • Perform general accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable and reconciliations of accounts, which include balancing multiple reports, calculating premium refunds, and other adjustments.
  • Follow pre-determined system and business processes using the existing procedure and process database.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, plan members, and other inter-departmental team members in a timely and professional manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform outbound calls to potential, new, and existing members, dealing with complex service issues with a professional and peak attitude.
  • Collaborate with peers and co-workers to manage workflows, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to identify innovative and efficient solutions.
