About The Position

Assisting parents of eligible children in gaining access to early intervention services and other services identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP); coordinating the provision of early intervention services and other services (such as medical services for other than diagnostic and evaluation purposes) that the child needs or is being provided; facilitating the timely delivery of available services; continuously seeking the appropriate services and situations necessary to benefit the development of each child being served for the duration of the child’s eligibility; and accurately documenting all aspects of the child’s services in the paper file and in the Baby Toddler Online Tracking System (BTOTS)

Requirements

  • Proven oral, written, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • Knowledge of local community resources
  • Ability to move from one task to another quickly and with ease
  • Ability to manage change with a positive attitude
  • Possesses the ability to motivate participants and encourage their self-efficiency
  • Current Utah Driver’s License
  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
  • All positions require the completion of a background check
  • 0-2 years experience
  • Two years’ experience working with infants and children
  • Experience working with children and or individuals with delays and/or disabilities
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or a related area or 3 years’ experience in Early Intervention
