About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. Job Description Job Title: Service Clerk FLSA Status: Non-exempt Summary Interviews customers, gather information, and records interview information into computer for customer service by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Foster a positive attitude toward retailers and home buyers Answer incoming phone calls and e-mail inquiries Interfaces between homeowners, retailers and Champion Home Builders to resolve warranty issues Interpret and explain warranty coverage to retailers and homeowners Write accurate service orders and parts orders for contractors and technicians to complete warranty work Take ownership of specific individual duties as assigned by supervisors Able to work without close supervision Manages warranty work using proprietary software Send weekly reports to retailers Create material invoices for retailer purchases Order and track materials Filing Ability to read blueprints

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Interfaces between homeowners, retailers and Champion Home Builders to resolve warranty issues
Interpret and explain warranty coverage to retailers and homeowners
