This is a part-time Service Center Clerk I position responsible for handling a high volume of telephone calls, checking in drivers, entering delivery manifest data, and imaging/scanning documents. The role also involves identifying freight bills with special delivery instructions, distributing bills of lading, entering data into the dispatch system, and working with driver handhelds. Additionally, the clerk will contact customers to coordinate delivery times and schedule appointments. Regular attendance is required. This role may involve performing other duties as assigned by management, and employees are expected to be able to perform all such duties.
