About The Position

This role involves working on the Frontend as a Customer Service/Cashier, responsible for registering customer purchases, operating the Service Center, and handling tasks such as customer relations, check cashing, telephone inquiries, lottery ticket sales, selling merchandise and services, processing merchandise returns, and issuing rain checks. As a cashier, duties include greeting customers, operating electronic registers, scanning or hand-ringing purchases, processing various payment methods, making change, maintaining a balanced drawer, ensuring proper bagging, working FastLanes, and providing a pleasant and efficient checkout experience. At the Service Center, the focus is on direct customer interaction at the "window" for services like check cashing, lottery tickets, and merchandise returns.

Requirements

• Must be available to be scheduled 35+ hours a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
• At least one year of cashier experience.
• Limited lifting, bending, stooping, pulling and pushing with repetitive lifting to 25#; occasional lifting to 50#.
• Organized.
• Productive.
• Outstanding customer relations skills.
• Able to work well with co-workers.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
