About The Position

Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Service Cashier to support our busy service department. As a Service Cashier, you'll play an important role in creating a positive customer experience by assisting service guests, processing payments, and supporting the daily operations of our service department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service, cashiering, or front-desk experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling payments
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive dealership experience
• Experience working with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and create a welcoming service experience.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with general service-related questions.
• Process payments accurately for completed repair and maintenance services.
• Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions in accordance with company policies.
• Provide invoices and explain charges when needed.
• Balance and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Keep the cashier workstation clean, organized, and professional.
• Assist the service team with administrative and clerical support as needed.
