Requirements

  • Journey-level carpenter status.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial carpentry.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong awareness of jobsite safety practices and the ability to follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management and field software such as Procore and Outbuild.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to perform sustained physical work, including manual labor and repetitive movements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and teammates.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate next steps and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Comfort using a smartphone, iPad, computer, and basic technology tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests, repairs, and warranty work as directed by supervisors and project managers.
  • Build strong relationships with facility teams and tenants through thoughtful, proactive communication.
  • Perform millwork installation, repair, and fabrication, including doors, frames, cabinets, paneling, furniture, hardware, and related carpentry tasks.
  • Review blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine layout, dimensions, and required materials.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational hazards and the associated safety precautions, with the ability to identify hazards and enforce safe practices.
  • Ability to represent the company with professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a service-oriented mindset in time-sensitive and client-facing situations
  • Serve as a hospitable point of contact between internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead small projects and coordinate work with trade partners when needed.
  • Prepare estimates and, when required, gather bids from trade partners.
