The Service Captain is responsible for ensuring all guests receive a Five Star Experience and embodying the Brand DNA in all aspects of the dining experience. This role involves proactively engaging with guests, assisting with seating, presenting wine menus, recommending wines, taking orders, and serving wine and food. The Service Captain must articulate wine service details, assist with guest departures, complete side work, and possess knowledge of all venue offerings. They are also involved in training, implementing service standards, overseeing the dining experience, reporting wine needs, assisting with inventory and ordering, and maintaining proper wine handling and storage. Additionally, they help update wine lists, present wine tastings, and manage beverage and food orders through the Point of Sale system, utilizing full club service. This role requires ensuring guest satisfaction, handling payments, assisting the dining team, maintaining professionalism, and performing other tasks as needed. Familiarity with ABC laws and participation in meetings are also required.
