About The Position

The Service Bartender ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the bar by assisting bartenders with drink preparation, stocking, and customer service. This role is primarily focused on preparing drinks for servers during dinner service. It requires exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills to help the front-of-house staff deliver top-notch service to guests. The Service Bartender must be energetic, fast-paced, and ready to provide a high-quality guest experience in a bustling, high-energy environment.

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience is preferred.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Cash-handling experience.
  • Knowledge of essential food preparation and knife skills.
  • 21 years old.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Fluent in written and conversational English.
  • Experienced computer user.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability throughout the golf season (May–September) is required.
  • Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and end as late as 2:00 a.m.
  • Overtime may be required during periods of increased member activity. When necessary, shifts may extend beyond the standard schedule, potentially exceeding 10 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Help bartenders make and serve drinks quickly and accurately, ensuring prompt service for customers.
  • Prepare garnishes, fruits, syrups, and other bar essentials as needed, ensuring all supplies are fresh and stocked.
  • Keep the bar stocked with necessary beverages, mixers, glassware, and supplies; monitor inventory levels and alert management when restocking is required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests at the bar, taking drink orders, and addressing guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Keep the bar area, tables, and workstations clean and organized throughout the shift. Follow all sanitation and safety standards for food and beverage preparation and storage.
  • Work closely with servers and other team members to ensure a seamless service experience for guests.
