About The Position

Dacotah Dining is seeking a Part-Time Bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, manage the bar area, and provide excellent guest service. The role requires adherence to recipes, company standards, and liquor laws, as well as maintaining a clean and stocked bar. The Bartender will also be responsible for accurate order entry, guest interaction, and handling concerns professionally.

Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience required.

  • Able to bend and twist repeatedly.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Able to push up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand in one location for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes, company standards, and guest preferences.
  • Prepare bar area for service, including fruits, garnishes, glassware, napkins, and all other applicable supplies.
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and waitstaff.
  • Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions.
  • Provide information to guests and waitstaff in a courteous manner.
  • Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and address intoxication concerns appropriately and professionally.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints in a calm, professional manner.
  • Ensure bar remains adequately stocked with beer, liquor, juice, garnishes, glassware, plastic cups, straws, napkins, and all other bar supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, liquor room, and coolers.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Inform management about any breakdown or malfunction of bar equipment.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in required training sessions.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance, and adhere to company dress code standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
