About The Position
Dacotah Dining is seeking a Full-Time Waitstaff member to join their team at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. This role involves assuming responsibility for an assigned section, providing excellent guest service, handling tables efficiently, and maintaining knowledge of menus and service procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, point-of-sales computer proficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures, is also a requirement.

- Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for assigned section throughout shift.
- Recognize and acknowledge guests within one minute of being seated, unless waiting on another table or picking up food.
- Handle all tables in a satisfactory manner at all times, including during peak hours and other high-demand time periods.
- Utilize proper tray service.
- Maintain current knowledge of service procedures, menus, Micros operations and seating chart.
- Utilize suggestive sales techniques as appropriate.
- Collect payment from guests by utilizing Micros system.
- Engage in light food preparation as needed.
- Perform daily side work as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and service areas.
- Thank guests upon their departure, and invite them to return.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
