About The Position
Cornerstone Restaurant Group (CRG) is seeking talented Service Assistants for its newest restaurant, Dimmi Dimmi, located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Dimmi Dimmi aims to reimagine the classic neighborhood Italian spot with bold red-sauce staples, classic cocktails, and a warm, buzzing vibe, blending timeless tradition with modern energy and heartfelt hospitality. The restaurant features 75 seats inside and an additional 40 seats outside during patio season. The culinary team is led by Executive Chef Matthew Eckfeld, with expertise from New York’s Carbone and other Major Food Group restaurants, and the pastry program is guided by consultant Casey Doody. CRG is looking for team members who share a passion for heartfelt hospitality, value collaboration, and thrive in creating a positive team environment. The Service Assistant will play a key support role in the overall successful operations of the restaurant, supporting service in the bar, dining room, and carry-out operations.

Responsibilities
- Bringing glassware up and down stairs from the dish area
- Assisting the bar in restocking
- Helping to put away orders and organize storage areas and the liquor cage
- Assisting the dining room in restocking, including water pitchers, silverware, and glassware
- Polishing silverware and glassware
- Facilitate carry out, including packaging food orders, working with Door Dash drivers and ensuring orders are correct
- Assisting with any guest request or needs
- Helping to clear tables and run food when needed
- Cleaning bar, dining room and/or kitchen areas as needed
- Assist with restocking restrooms
- Opening and closing duties
