About The Position

Provide excellent service to restaurant customers and restaurant Service Persons. This role is responsible for maintaining required supply levels in the dining room and service kitchens, ensuring a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room, and assisting Servers in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables. The Service Assistant will accommodate the needs and requests of any guest, assist servers with delivering orders when possible, and build relationships with customers. They must also handle money according to procedure, monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed, and follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws. The position requires adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures in an ethical manner, endorsing the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months prior food service experience preferred
  • Legible handwriting
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required
  • Willing to learn and be adaptable
  • Attention to detail/Observant
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
  • Must be able to carry and balance food service tray
  • Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must be able to be on feet for 8-hour shift
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
