About The Position

The Service and Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. This role provides general maintenance support to sites, including painting, building/repairing structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets, as well as cleaning and other basic maintenance duties. The technician will also maintain store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance. Additionally, they will facilitate repairs by contacting service vendors for materials, maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs, and participate in training for existing and new equipment. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary, and contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, are also part of this role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or General Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.
