About The Position

Culligan Water of Bloomington is hiring a dependable, customer-focused Service and Installation Technician to install, service, maintain, and repair residential water treatment equipment. The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, performing maintenance and replacements, educating customers, documenting service calls, and coordinating with dispatch, sales, and other technicians. The company is willing to train a suitable candidate with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on assigned work.
Comfort using a tablet or mobile device to document service calls.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience with plumbing, equipment installation, maintenance, repair, HVAC, or a related trade is preferred but not required.
Water treatment experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, and repair residential water treatment equipment, including water softeners, filtration systems, and reverse osmosis systems.
Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacements.
Educate customers about their equipment, answer questions, and recommend solutions when appropriate.
Accurately complete service records and customer documentation using company technology.
Keep the service vehicle organized and properly care for tools and equipment.
Work with dispatch, sales, and other technicians to deliver a positive customer experience.
Follow company procedures and established safety standards.
