About The Position

The service agent will wash and polish car interiors and exterior by applying soap solution, scrapping loose dirt, cleaning tires, rinsing with a hose, drying, dusting and vacuuming car interiors, removing trash, cleaning seats, and polishing. Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps vehicles in sound working condition, and provides transportation for customers. Assist in various areas of the dealership as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Guam driver’s license
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc. as needed.
  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
  • Starts vehicles daily and reports any problems or concerns.
  • Follow up with fleet vehicles or lease vehicles in service or at body shop and provide update on vehicle status to management.
  • Keeps TRAC/ABP lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by dept. manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Safely transport customers as directed by rental agent or management.
  • Handles customer complaints or refers to appropriate dealership employee as necessary for resolution.
  • Greets visitors, ascertains the nature of their business, and assists them or direct them to the appropriate person.
  • May assist disabled passenger(s) into and out of vehicle.
  • Safely transport rental agents to Lease/ABP locations.
  • Perform errand as directed by management.
  • Performs light maintenance on vehicles as needed, i.e., replaces windshield wiper blades, repairs or changes tires, replenishes fluids, etc.
  • Keeps vehicles fueled.
  • Ensures that required forms/stickers have been completed and are properly displayed.
  • Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.
  • Attends departmental meetings when necessary.
  • Reports to work on time every day as scheduled.
  • Follow standard safe work procedures
  • Identify and report hazards and environmental aspects

  • Act responsibly for the safety of self and others
  • Participate in HSE improvement activities
  • Wear designated personal protective equipment
  • Report all unsafe situations immediately to Supervisor/Manager
