About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join their Service team at Volkswagen Bend. This is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. The goal is to build lifelong service customers, and Service Advisors are the first point of contact. Candidates should have high-level customer service experience, time management skills, strong work ethics, and strong communication skills. The ability to make recommendations and prioritize tasks for customers is essential. Duties include interacting with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, verifying work performed, researching vehicle history for recommendations, maintaining customer information, completing tasks efficiently, communicating with customers via phone, email, and chat, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

  • High level customer service experience
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Strong work ethics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of automobile repair and maintenance
  • 2 years of service writing experience

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed
  • Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations
  • Inputting and maintaining customer information
  • Complete work tasks in an efficient and organized manner
  • Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day
  • Scheduling service appointments
