About The Position

Volkswagen Danbury is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our high-performing service team. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building lasting relationships, and helping customers maintain their vehicles, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of dealership Service Advisor experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive dealership Service Advisor experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Basic computer proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds
  • Volkswagen experience is a plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction and service sales success

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair and maintenance needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire service process.
  • Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and costs clearly and effectively.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Manage repair orders from write-up through vehicle delivery.
  • Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and parts departments.
  • Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Maximize technician productivity and shop efficiency.
  • Assist with warranty administration and repair documentation.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with technicians, parts personnel, and management.
  • Support dealership goals for customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
  • Adhere to all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements.
