Summary: An Automotive Service Advisor acts as the liaison between customers and service technicians for vehicles maintenance and repairs being performed at the dealership.

Requirements

Working knowledge and experience of automotive products, repairs and part.
Possess mechanical and auto parts knowledge.
Ability to understand sales training and new product information.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Punctual, reliable and must have good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Eng/Spanish preferred.
Cadillac experience preferred.
Service advisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers to determine their need in regard to repairs or maintenance that needs to be performed on their vehicle.
Write repair orders for new and used vehicles.
Acts as liaison between customer and service technicians to communicate status of repairs, communicates cost to customers, and advises on additional repair needs or costs that may arise.
Follow up with customers on surveys.
