About The Position

The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with service customers to determine the nature of their mechanical problems. They will secure agreement from customers before repairs, covering cost estimates and approximate completion times. The role also involves handling minor customer complaints and misunderstandings, coordinating work assignments for service technicians, and following up on the progress of each repair order. Additionally, Service Advisors will contact customers by telephone regarding any changes to the estimate or promised completion time.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Enthusiastic demeanor even in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous medium/heavy duty truck service or automobile service advisor/writer or mechanic experience HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
  • Current CDL also a plus.
