About The Position

Nextran Truck Centers is hiring a Service Advisor in Quincy, IL. This role is the key link between customers and technicians in a busy heavy-duty truck shop. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple tasks, and has a customer-first mindset. Experience in truck, diesel, or automotive service is required, along with strong communication and organization skills. Requirements

Experience in truck, diesel, or automotive service.
Strong communication and organization skills in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, parts, and repairs.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Team player with a customer-first mindset.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience with service management software.
Understanding of shop financials (labor, parts, billing).
Diesel experience or the drive to learn.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for customers and set the tone for a great experience.
Write clear, accurate repair orders and provide estimates.
Coordinate with technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently.
Keep customers informed with timely, honest updates.
Manage workflow, billing, and service documentation.
Help keep the shop running smoothly day-to-day.
