About The Position

Requirements

1+ year of service department experience required
Strong automotive knowledge and ability to assess issues quickly
Proven customer satisfaction track record
Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems and repair procedures

High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant preferred
Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and collect vehicle and customer information to open each visit
Listen to customer-described symptoms and document them clearly on the repair order
Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history
Prepare complete, accurate estimates for labor and parts
Establish follow-up times and keep customers updated on vehicle progress throughout the day
Confirm that final invoices match completed repair order work before delivery
Explain all services performed and associated charges to customers at pickup
