About The Position

Experienced Automotive Service Advisor Ready for More Than Just Writing Repair Orders? Busam Ford in Wilmington is looking for a smart, experienced Service Advisor who knows how a great service department should operate — and wants to help lead one. We’re a family-owned Ford dealership, not a giant corporate auto group. We’re growing, investing in our operation, and working toward a brand-new dealership facility. We’re looking for an experienced Service Advisor who can become a key part of that growth. This isn't an entry-level advisor position. We want someone who understands the business. Someone who can build trust with customers, communicate confidently with technicians, recognize opportunities, keep work moving through the shop, and help create the kind of service experience that keeps customers coming back.

  • Comfortable taking ownership when something doesn't go exactly as planned
  • Comfortable being a leader in the department
  • You don't need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what needs done next.
  • You understand that a strong Service Advisor is part salesperson, part problem-solver, part traffic controller, and — most importantly — the customer's advocate inside the dealership.
  • Successful as a Service Advisor but feel like you've hit a ceiling where you are
