About The Position

Sterling Honda is seeking an experienced and passionate Service Advisor to join their growing team. This role is crucial in shaping the service experience for clients who choose to service their vehicles at the dealership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-year dealership experience in a Service Advisor role required.
  • Automotive knowledge.
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with many priorities.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to remain calm when customers and/or situations are not.
  • Organization and follow-up skills.
  • Experience and desire to work with technology.

Nice To Haves

  • CDK experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
  • Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
  • Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
  • Developing repair estimates by considering the cost of materials, supplies, and labor.
  • Preparing repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms.
  • Connecting customers to the right auto technician.
  • Test-driving vehicles to confirm the customers’ vehicle is repaired as needed.
  • Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions.
