Responsibilities

  • Greet customers upon arrival in the maintenance area.
  • Listen attentively to customer vehicle concerns.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Proactively check for recalls.
  • Retrieve crucial vehicle information (mileage, VIN).
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and providing daily updates.
  • Submit documentation for warranty repair orders.
  • Handle customer relations on a per-need basis.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
  • Prepare detailed repair orders, describing symptoms, problems, causes, and required services.
  • Obtain necessary approval signatures.
  • Enter repair orders into the service database system.
  • Monitor repair work to ensure timely completion.
  • Review completed jobs.
  • Collect payments.
  • Close out service orders.
