Nice To Haves

  • Prior dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred
  • Experience with auto estimating, auto body repair, transmissions, oil changes, alignment, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, brake repair, and air brake systems
  • Sales experience including upselling automotive services and automobile sales techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with service technician experience is advantageous
  • Proven ability in auto service writing and automotive repair processes is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues for service technicians
  • Prepare detailed service estimates, including auto estimating, and explain repair options to customers
  • Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, and transmission services when appropriate
  • Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance procedures like diesel engine repair, shocks & struts replacement, air brake servicing, and auto body repairs
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
  • Maintain detailed records of all services performed using service writing systems
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business
  • Assist in managing parts inventory related to vehicle maintenance tasks
