About The Position

Fox CDJR Taylor is hiring a full-time, onsite Service Advisor in Taylor, MI to serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role exists to ensure customer concerns are documented precisely, repairs are authorized appropriately, and expectations around timing and cost are managed with accuracy.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years related experience and/or training (or equivalent)
  • Comfort using technology to support an exceptional customer experience
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Check on the progress of repairs throughout the day and provide customers with frequent updates on the status of their vehicles
  • Open and manage repair orders, capturing customer concerns clearly
  • Provide written estimates for parts and labor; obtain approvals for changes
  • Review service history, perform walkarounds, and recommend additional services as appropriate
  • Monitor repair progress and communicate updates through completion
  • Close repair orders and explain completed work and charges
