Responsibilities

Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and gather vehicle and customer information.
Inspect vehicles for necessary bodywork and inform customers if additional work is required.
Obtain customer agreement for repairs, provide cost estimates, and communicate approximate completion times.
Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and the importance of adhering to manufacturer specifications using maintenance menus.
Address and resolve minor customer complaints and misunderstandings.
Monitor repair order progress throughout the day and contact customers regarding any changes to estimates or timelines.
Handle telephone inquiries and promptly return phone messages.
Deliver vehicles to customers, answer questions, review completed work, and explain charges and coverage.
Refer potential leads and prospects to the new and pre-owned sales departments.
Provide assistance to the service manager as needed.
Adhere to company safety procedures to prevent exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, and harsh chemicals.
