About The Position

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor for their Ford dealership in Sanford. This role involves acting as a liaison between service technicians and customers, explaining repair recommendations, and identifying up-sell opportunities. The Service Advisor will work in a state-of-the-art service department, utilizing leading-edge technology to enhance customer loyalty and ensure vehicle safety. The position offers the chance to be actively involved in the service lane, moving beyond a traditional desk role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Dealership experience preferred.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner upon arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs through customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Utilize a consultative selling process to help customers plan for ongoing vehicle maintenance.
• Generate repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
• Collaborate with technicians and parts associates for timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Acquire superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to foster loyalty.
