Responsibilities

Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and gather vehicle and customer information.
Inspect vehicles for necessary bodywork and inform customers of any required repairs.
Obtain customer agreement for repairs, provide cost estimates, and communicate estimated completion times.
Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and the importance of adhering to manufacturer specifications using maintenance menus.
Address and resolve minor customer complaints and misunderstandings.
Monitor repair order progress throughout the day and contact customers regarding any changes to estimates or promised times.
Handle telephone inquiries and return phone messages promptly.
Deliver vehicles to customers, answer questions, review work performed, and explain charges and coverage.
Refer potential customers for vehicle sales to the new and pre-owned sales departments.
Provide assistance to the service manager as needed.
Adhere to company safety procedures to prevent exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, and harsh chemicals.
