Blaine Brothers - Trailer Shop Service Advisor
About The Position
Blaine Brothers Family of Companies is seeking a Service Advisor for their Trailer Shop, located in Blaine, MN. This is a full-time, 1st shift position (Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm) that involves the day-to-day supervision of shift operations and technicians. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, be detail-oriented, possess strong computer skills, have a great work ethic, and be willing to assist where needed. Requirements
- Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude
- Strong communication skills – both verbally and written
- Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles
- Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the technicians
- Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed
- Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues
- Schedule shift work
- Call in customer repairs and approvals / unit updates
- Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair
- Create, estimate (if needed) and invoice repair orders in a timely manner
- Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization
