About The Position

Better Collision Centers is a growing company in the Sumter area, looking for a Service Advisor. This role is focused on customer relationships and managing the repair process from start to finish. It's an opportunity for individuals eager to learn and make an impact, particularly those with dealership experience looking to transition into the collision industry. The company will provide training for specific collision industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Strong customer service background (dealership, hospitality, or automotive experience a plus)
  • A natural relationship builder
  • Clear communicator with customers and coworkers
  • Organized and able to juggle multiple repairs at once
  • Hungry to learn, grow, and build a career

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CCC One or Mitchell

Responsibilities

  • Manage the repair process from vehicle drop-off to delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, keeping them informed throughout the repair process.
  • Write estimates, including for the Enterprise rental fleet partnership.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure production flow.
  • Order parts and manage supplements.
  • Handle authorizations and documentation.
  • Deliver vehicles back to customers.

Benefits

  • Base Wage: $42,000 to $55,000
  • Commission pay with a guaranteed monthly minimum
