About The Position

Service Advisor At Leif Johnson Ford of Buda, we believe speed, precision, and hospitality can all exist at the same time. Our Service Lane is high-volume, high-energy, and customer-focused — and we’re looking for a driven Service Advisor who can keep up. This is not a desk job. This is a fast-moving service drive where your ability to communicate clearly, move quickly, and stay organized directly impacts customer satisfaction and shop performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using dealership management software and other relevant tools

Nice To Haves

• Strong sales confidence (ethical upselling is key)
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
• Comfort using dealership systems and multi-screen computer work

• Clear, professional communication
• Service advisor or automotive experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately and set the tone for a fast, friendly experience
• Write accurate repair orders for maintenance services (oil changes, tires, batteries, light repairs)
• Confidently recommend manufacturer-recommended maintenance
• Manage multiple vehicles at once while keeping wait times low
• Communicate with technicians to keep work flowing efficiently
• Close repair orders cleanly and accurately
