About The Position

The Service Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, scheduling appointments, managing customer communication regarding repairs, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the service department. This role involves direct customer interaction, coordination with the mechanical team, and maintaining office supplies and documentation.

Requirements

  • Ability to schedule mechanical appointments.
  • Ability to update customers on repairs.
  • Ability to arrange transportation for customers.
  • Ability to send reminder cards for state inspections.
  • Ability to assist customers with PA state registration renewal.
  • Ability to check and re-order office supplies.
  • Ability to scan mechanic work orders and MPI sheets.
  • Ability to write out key tags.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling state inspection coupons during promotions.
  • Familiarity with Amazon for office supply orders.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers and direct them to the assigned associate and department.
  • Schedule all mechanical appointments and update customers on repair status.
  • Call customers when repairs are finished and cars are ready for pickup.
  • Return all messages in a timely manner.
  • Schedule mechanical tow-ins and unexpected drop-offs.
  • Check the drop box daily and refill envelopes as needed.
  • Scan in night drop envelopes daily.
  • Arrange transportation for customers dropping off or picking up cars.
  • Send out reminder cards for state inspections.
  • Sell state inspection coupons during scheduled promotions.
  • Assist customers with PA state registration renewal and current insurance cards.
  • Check office supplies and re-order as needed.
  • Scan in mechanic work orders and MPI sheets daily.
  • Write out key tags for cars coming in the next day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
