About The Position
Livermore Ford Lincoln Alfa Romeo Maserati is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as an Entry-Level Service Advisor Trainee / Porter. This position is designed for individuals looking to begin a career in the automotive industry with the opportunity to grow into a Service Advisor role through hands-on training and mentorship. We believe in promoting from within and developing future leaders. Requirements

- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with vehicle check-in and service lane organization.
- Move customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the property.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer waiting areas.
- Deliver completed vehicles to customers and assist with vehicle pick-up.
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds and basic inspections.
- Assist technicians and service advisors with daily operations.
- Shuttle vehicles as needed.
- Support the service team in providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Learn dealership service processes and procedures.
- Shadow experienced Service Advisors.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and customer communications.
- Learn how to create repair orders and document customer concerns.
- Develop knowledge of maintenance recommendations and repair services.
- Learn manufacturer maintenance schedules for Ford, Lincoln, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati vehicles.
- Build communication and sales skills necessary to become a Service Advisor.
