About The Position

Berlin City Kia is hiring an Internal Service Advisor to join their growing team in Burlington, Vermont. This role is crucial for supporting the reconditioning and service process by coordinating communication between the service department, used vehicle operations, technicians, and the parts department. The position involves writing repair orders, monitoring repair progress, ensuring timely vehicle completion, and supporting internal and after-sales service needs. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

• Prior automotive industry experience preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
• Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Automotive service or dealership experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Reconditioning Manager, Used Car Manager, technicians, and porters to identify vehicle repair and reconditioning needs
• Write and manage internal repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with technicians and the parts department to help ensure the timely completion of repairs
• Communicate repair timelines, estimates, and status updates to management
• Monitor work in progress and follow up on delayed or additional repair needs
• Handle customer and manager inquiries regarding after-sales repair work and appointments
• Maintain strong communication and follow-up throughout the repair process
• Support department organization, workflow efficiency, and overall service operations
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
