About The Position
Roux, a new restaurant from 40North Restaurants / Villa Restaurant Group, is coming to Summit, NJ — and we’re looking for friendly, energetic Servers to join our opening team! We are seeking individuals with previous serving or restaurant experience, a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and stay organized, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Requirements
- Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service to every Guest
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Explain menu items, specials and recommendations
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Check in with Guests and respond to questions or requests
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Work closely with Hosts, kitchen team and other Servers
- Follow food safety and service standards
