About The Position

Glenwild Golf Club is seeking experienced Servers to join our F&B staff for the Summer season, starting in late April. We are a private members club located at Kimball Junction, Park City. We are looking for professional, energetic servers who are friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. As a server, you will play a major role in ensuring an enjoyable member experience. The ideal candidate should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while maintaining composure, be sensitive to member needs, possess good timing for handling orders, and take pride in their personal appearance and dedication to the job.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to sell and serve alcohol.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Ability to make suggestions and take orders for food and drink.
  • Pleasant and helpful service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to memorize a seating chart and run food to tables.
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must have or obtain Alcohol Servers Certificate and Food Handler's Permit.
  • Able to work weekdays and weekend evenings.
  • Ability to work any day of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
  • Must have professional appearance and follow dress code.
  • Be dependable, on-time, and a hard worker.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • At least 2 years of previous restaurant service experience.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Successful completion of a background check and E-Verification.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for member and guest satisfaction in all food and beverage operations, including dining, events, and bar service.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to members and their guests.
  • Cross-train and perform duties of all food and beverage service positions as needed.
  • Welcome each member personally and communicate efficiently at all times.
  • Work as a team with all Glenwild personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient service.
  • Keep all areas cleaned and stocked to Glenwild standards.
  • Provide service for patrons of bar and dining areas following Glenwild standards.
  • Learn member names, favorite drinks, and foods.
  • Know all food menus with intimate detail, house cocktails and wines by the glass, and popular liquors and wines.
  • Communicate special requests of members to chefs and bartenders.
  • Perform at a level similar to fine dining.
  • Accurately ring-in and charge order items to the correct members.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of events as requested.
  • Complete all assigned side-work and any other tasks assigned by supervisors.
