About The Position

Under the direction of the Asst. Manager, the server is responsible for serving both food and beverage to guests throughout the property ensuring a positive guest experience in the outlet. Essential Job Functions Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina. Proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 40 lbs without restriction. Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene. Must be reliable and conscientious, possess the ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers and supervisory staff. Must be accurate and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Greet and serves guests in a timely and courteous manner. Take guest orders, serves food and drinks, and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adhere to cash handling procedures. Adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, state food safety handler regulations and all related training material. Knowledgeable of restaurant (ordering) systems; expediting systems. Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Manager on duty. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. Perform other assignments as directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of high volume food service experience.
  • Table service restaurant experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
