About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Mallard Pointe Senior Living in Cedar Falls, IA. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering a sense of community, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and changes. This position offers a starting wage of $16.00-$19.75 per hour and is a PRN (as needed) position with a varying shift schedule.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
