About The Position

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to provide a genuinely hospitable experience.

Requirements

Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests.
Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
Basic math skills.
Ability to handle money.
Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while ensuring a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and attended to.
Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
Make genuine recommendations to guests.
Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift.
Clean tables, doors, floors, floorboards, windows, vents, lights, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
Monitor guests' dining experience, ensure satisfaction, and respond promptly to requests.
Prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process credit card charges or make change.
Assist fellow servers as needed.
Assist buspersons with clearing and resetting tables.
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations as directed by management.
