About The Position

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to provide a genuinely hospitable experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests.
  • Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to handle money.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while ensuring a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and attended to.
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
  • Make genuine recommendations to guests.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant functions.
  • Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift.
  • Clean tables, doors, floors, floorboards, windows, vents, lights, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Monitor guests' dining experience, ensure satisfaction, and respond promptly to requests.
  • Prepare final bills, present checks, accept payments, and process credit card charges or make change.
  • Assist fellow servers as needed.
  • Assist buspersons with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations as directed by management.
