About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Server for The Madison Senior Living community in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, and maintaining the tidiness of the dining area. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be at least sixteen years of age, and possess strong communication skills in English. This position requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The server will also assist residents with mobility and ensure they are cleared criminally.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
