About The Position
Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door. And in between, a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. As a Server at The Greystone Inn, you are providing our guests with fresh, seasonal cuisine. If you are reliable, eager-to-learn, with a friendly/positive attitude, you will be very successful in “wowâ€ing our guests.
Requirements
- Be friendly and smiling
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to stand throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to navigate steps/stairs on a regular basis
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel valued
- Having a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menus, making suggestions and describing dishes to guests
- Taking orders, delivering food, overseeing table maintenance, and monitoring guest satisfaction
- Opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
